Be an Ambassador of Fun!
Hey! If you are bright, energetic, and willing to smile, WE WANT YOU!
We don’t like to use the word employee. We use term “Ambassadors of Fun”. You really have to like your position and convey that to our guests on a daily basis. Each Ambassador of Fun we hire is the face of Alley Cats. Therefore, there are a few conditions we want you to know about before you apply.
This should go without saying with any job, and we list it first as our number one requirement in dealing with our guests, other Ambassadors of Fun, and Alley Cats. This is our number one priority for reference checks.
Drugs, Alcohol, and Tobacco
Every Alley Cats staff member has daily contact with our guests. We feel the use of drugs or alcohol is not conducive to performing well. We do random drug testing, and you have to pass a drug screening before you start your new position. We do not allow tobacco use on the property by our Ambassadors of Fun.
We expect you to work the days you are scheduled and to be on time. Absenteeism and tardiness are not acceptable. Remember, we are here when our guests are off work and want to relax and have fun. You are expected to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and vacation times such as Spring Break.
We provide logo shirts at a nominal cost. You are expected to keep your shirt clean and neat. Black slacks are required: no black jeans, yoga pants, capris, etc. Also, black shoes are required. No open-toed shoes, but black sneakers are good. Remember you will be on your feet, so be sure your shoes are comfortable and fit well. Personal hygiene is important as you are working closely with other Ambassadors and the public. No extreme hair styles or colors. Tattoos and jewelry cannot be visible. No facial piercings including tongue posts. Makeup should be natural and not excessive.
Every Ambassador of Fun has contact with our guests. Good people skills and common courtesy are required at all times. If you do not enjoy dealing with a lot of people, especially children, DO NOT APPLY!
These guidelines are not complete and will be gone over in detail if you chose to continue the application and interview process. If you feel comfortable with the guidelines, please continue with the link below. Remember, we want bright, energetic, and willing to smile Ambassadors of Fun!
